Bob Oatley has been at the forefront of the Australian wine industry for the last half a century. He was a true pioneer that helped cement Australia as a global player on the international wine stage. Robert Oatley Wines is now steered by his eldest son Sandy, bringing new passion and direction for this family owned 5 star rated winery.

The evening at the Whale will be hosted by Darren Jahn, who is no stranger to us, as he guided us through the last Robert Oatley wine dinner back in 2013. He has worked in the industry before he could even drink, starting at the age of 15. Having worked across many facets of the wine industry he is now head of Marketing & Communications at Robert Oatley. He will bring a wealth of knowledge, passion and humor to the evening and we are looking forward to enjoying his company again for what will be a wonderful night of food, wine and laughs.
